Abbas Khadem, 47, a Gilan-based bodybuilding coach, was killed on Thursday, 8 January 2026 in “Rostamabad” by live ammunition from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic. Abbas Khadem’s family were not charged a fee to retrieve his body, but they were forced to sign a pledge stipulating that they were not allowed to publicize the death or hold a ceremony with more than 20 people.
