According to a report received by the Hengaw human rights organization, on the evening of 18 Dey 1404 (January 8, 2026), Somayeh Ghobadi, a 39-year-old Turk and resident of the Ajin district of Asadabad, Hamedan, died in the Naziabad area of Tehran after being shot directly by government forces, with a live bullet striking her heart. Somayeh Ghobadi was working in a sewing workshop and was the mother of an 11-year-old daughter.
